Such nice art and you nearly go unnoticed? Kind of unfair, I'll be watching you for sure.

Its cool and thnx for the comments too!!

Oh and yeah i'm mad on video games, It what i'm studying for (I'm in my final yr of software engineering degree at uni.. then I'm gonna do an MEng and then move onto get a job in the games industry.. hopefully!! thats the plan NEways)..

So what do u do?
:iconnashben:
Being mad on video games is always a good thing! ;)
Sounds really interesting what you're doing and plannig for the future. I definitely will keep an eye on you and.. well dunno how.. but I'd like to support you somehow to get you into the games industry. Because it always needs new, talented and good people. And I think you are that. :)
Keep me informed about your successes so far. I wish you good luck at the uni, last year, yeah - that's cool, and just a matter of time to finish it. =)

I'm not as half as interesting as you I think. :D
I'm currently a student at high school in Germany. It's about 1 1/3 jears until I can study - but I don't know exactly what yet. Maybe something with english language because I like it very much and pretend to speak it well. ;) The best thing that could happen to me is making it to a canadian university. I like the country and studying at an english university is best.
Well so far the question was what do I do - sorry for having been offtopic. ;)
I'm beginning to enter the semi-professional 'league' of digital photography. I'm just waiting for my new cam and then it's time to enjoy my hobby even more. Besides I love cycling and my dog (visit my devart page if you want to see some pics of her). And of course video games. :D But I don't really have the genes to deal with it beyond the level of gaming. I.e. programming and so on is not my thing. :) But nevertheless it's a pleasure for me to watch programmed work and stuff.

Oh, sorry for writing so much. It's late and you asked a question I could write tons about.. ;)
If you don't mind we could have a little chat by note. Just write me if you're interested!

Have a nice time!

Hey, thanks for the comment.

Uhm, I reached the point I am at with my Ikaruga model over two weeks of on and off modelling. Actual time spent though, was probably a weeks worth.

My system specs are as follows:

Athlon64 3200+ (2.2GHz)
Asus K8N-E Mobo
1024MB PC3200 OCZ DDRAM
BFGTech 6800GTOC, overclocked to 400/1100 (6800 Ultra Speeds)

The render was made on 3ds Max 5, but I recently upgraded to 3ds Max 6. I am using Windows XP SP2.

Your 3D work is awesome.. How did you learn to get so good? all so what modelling techniques do you tend to use most and how do they work for you?

I started doing some 3D work about a yr ago but havn't really had time to pick it back up, what with uni work and all but i'd like to soon..

Do you have any tips for me or could direct me to some good tutorials for modelling sci-fi vehicles/mechs/spaceships etc etc as good as you do..?

Any help at all would be very much appreciated thnx!!

Hey, haha. Uhm, well, I guess if you wanted to know about my style, it's called "Poly Modelling" in tutorials and stuff. Basically you start with a primitive, like a cube or a sphere, then modify the vertices, edges, etc until you get the object you want.

The tutoriasl that come with the program (i use 3ds max 6 btw) are the best imho.
